Question:Does the USPTO control the fees charged by patent attorneys and agents for their services?
Answer: No. This is a matter between you and your patent attorney or agent in which the Office takes no part. To avoid misunderstanding you may wish to ask for estimate charges for: (a) the search (b) preparation of the patent application, and (c) USPTO prosecution.
Question:All submitted drawings must be drawn on strong, white, smooth, non-shiny paper
Answer:
Drawings submitted to the Office must be made on paper which is flexible, strong, white, smooth, non-shiny, and durable. All sheets must be reasonably free from cracks, creases, and folds. Only one side of the sheet may be used for the drawing.

Answer:
Invents a new, original, and ornamental design for an article of manufacture.
